Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council (MIIC) Inc. / Welcome Place provides a broad range of holistic settlement services for newcomers and refugee sponsors.

Refugee claimants, privately sponsored refugees, government assisted refugees, immigrants, and their families, are welcome to receive settlement services in their native language by knowledgeable Advisors, many of whom have a first-hand understanding of the refugee experience. In addition to providing settlement services for newcomers, MIIC/Welcome Place provides wraparound information and support for refugee sponsors, guiding them through the process to sponsor and welcome their loved ones.

MIIC/Welcome Place also has 30 temporary accommodation units for low-income newcomer

singles and families, for stays up to six months.
